Promoting a Research Culture in Civil Engineering
Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation (PCERF), the nonprofit organization dedicated to Research and Development in Construction Materials, Technology and Methods, is seeking research proposals to further its mission and address a critical need in the field of Civil Engineering.
PCERF aims to promote a research culture in Civil Engineering by mentoring, assisting and implementing innovative research projects and technology advancements. This research makes significant contributions to the construction industry and enhances the knowledge and skills of Civil engineers and Architects.
We recognize the importance of research and development in advancing the field of Civil Engineering and improving construction materials and methods. Our plan is promoting research projects that address key challenges in the industry and develop innovative solutions. By promoting a research culture, we aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of Civil engineers and Architects, ultimately leading to improved construction practices and safer, more sustainable infrastructure.
PCERF will support various research initiatives, including laboratory testing, data analysis, prototype development and implementation of research on actual fields for development of new technologies. PCERF will also organize workshops, seminars, training programs, and Value Added Courses to disseminate research findings and facilitate knowledge sharing among industry professionals. Additionally, PCERF plans to collaborate with universities, research institutions, and industry partners to leverage their expertise and resources for more impactful research outcomes. PCERF also organizes the International Expo “Constro” for providing a platform to promote new technology, new materials, and modern equipment in the construction field.
